{"id":562,"date":"2021-01-14T03:06:15","date_gmt":"2021-01-14T02:06:15","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.tgm.solutions\/?p=516"},"modified":"2021-01-14T03:06:15","modified_gmt":"2021-01-14T02:06:15","slug":"news-internship-at-tgm","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.tgm.solutions\/en\/allgemein\/news-praktikum-bei-tgm\/","title":{"rendered":"Internship in times of Corona"},"content":{"rendered":"<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Hello, <\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>We are Jan (Bionics B.Sc.) and Max (Mechanical Engineering B.Sc.), interns with the lightweight construction specialists at TGM since the beginning of April.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:100px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\"><p>Instead of the planned internship abroad in China, I thankfully found myself at TGM at very short notice and am looking forward to learning a lot about lightweight construction and principles.<\/p><cite>Max<\/cite><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\"><p>As lightweight construction is my major field of study and I wanted to experience Berlin, my internship is a win-win. I'm still missing out on city life at the moment, but I'm happy to start my day-to-day engineering work from home.<\/p><cite>Jan<\/cite><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:100px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>From the very beginning, we were involved in software development as part of a customer project as well as in the identification and implementation of lightweight construction potential in an internal research project. These tasks give us a good insight into TGM's working methods and approach to consulting projects. We particularly like working independently and the informal atmosphere with our colleagues. We feel very welcome and are looking forward to meeting our colleagues in person at a team event at the end of this week.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In addition to the design of various CAD models, our tasks also include FEM calculations, where we can apply and expand our knowledge from our studies.
