This significantly reduces the capacitance between the windings, as well as skin and proximity effects, which occur particularly at high frequencies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The result is lower alternating current resistance (AC resistance), which reduces electrical losses and heat generation and increases overall efficiency.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">When combined with high-quality magnetic core materials, the toroidal design confines the magnetic flux almost entirely within the core. This minimizes magnetic stray fields and electromagnetic interference (EMI), while ensuring stable inductance and excellent performance under DC bias.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In addition, both vertical and horizontal mounting options increase design flexibility for compact electronic assemblies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>The lightweight construction aspect<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">From a lightweight design perspective, high-frequency toroidal inductors primarily enable a <strong>Weight Reduction at the System Level<\/strong>, rather than simply reducing the weight of the individual component.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Thanks to their higher efficiency and excellent thermal properties, power losses are reduced. As a result, heat sinks, cooling systems, and housing structures can be designed to be smaller and lighter.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The flat design with high power density also reduces the required printed circuit board (PCB) area and packaging volume, thereby contributing to lighter electronic modules.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In addition, improved EMI suppression reduces the need for additional shielding materials and filter components.
