This report presents the results of a computational fluid dynamics analysis to evaluate the aerodynamic performance of a vehicle model. The aim of this simulation was to evaluate the airflow patterns and aerodynamic properties of the vehicle under different conditions and in combination with weight optimization.
It is possible:
- save time and resources during the design and testing phases. CFD simulations are more cost-effective than physical wind tunnel tests,
- provide accurate predictions of a vehicle's aerodynamic performance, enabling engineers to make informed decisions about design changes.
- Reducing fuel consumption and emissions as a contribution to more environmentally friendly vehicles.
- Reducing drag and improving fuel efficiency: CFD enables rapid analysis and fine-tuning of vehicle shape, allowing engineers to optimize aerodynamic performance.
